  • We will focus on the present. I can offer analysis for understanding and dive into the past for insight into the roots of the symptom, but the focus of sessions will be on identifying challenges and emotional blocks, and creating the potential for change in the present.

    Sessions consist of setting conscious intention and awareness, somatic and energy exercises to engage the subconscious and release, and creating action and practice plans to integrate the new potential.

  • Unlike traditional therapy, there are no requirements of weekly or biweekly time commitments. Each session is customized based on your desires to change and you can return for sessions as needed. The goal is for you to become the catalyst for your own healing and change versus being in therapy for years. Come as you are and as you need.

  • Absolutely. The work we do has built-in safety and permission protocols to make sure it is safe to proceed with any process when working with the body and the subconscious mind.

  • This is a safe place of non-judgement for all Parts and Shadows, especially the ones that bring you the most shame. I have worked in prisons, hospitals, and with the court systems. If there are more resources that are needed for safety- or more traditional therapy is required, we will discuss that directly in session with compassion and care. I will make recommendations that are in your best and highest good.

  • Because we don’t know what we don’t know! You can only try to “fix” things based on what you have learned in the past. You have a limited perception of possibilities based on feelings and experiences from your past. The cause of our fear responses can go back generations or pre-verbal. If we spend all our time talking and searching for why, we end up living in past programming that may not even be our own. Continuing to repeat old patterns even though we work so hard and desperately desire to change.

    Surgery, medications, and diets do not fix the subconscious. They can be effective tools to assist in healing and health functioning, but if the root belief is still limiting, the gains may be short term and old patterns will continue to repeat, triggering feelings of failure, shame, frustration, hopelessness and helplessness.

    Traditional talk therapy has amazing benefits and is a much needed resource that everyone should have free access to through their insurance. It should be as basic as having a primary care doctor, nutrition, and movement in your daily life.

    What Belief to Body is offering is specialty advisor care that focuses on the beliefs and emotional blocks that basic methods have not been able to transform-“I have tried everything and I’m still frustrated”. By being self-pay it ensures the individual has come to an awareness of the value of taking personal responsibility for change.

  • Once we reframe the beliefs and shift the energy, we need a new pathway to direct that energy. That is how this is a practice of BEING and DOING. Energy does not stay still — it never ends and never dies. So we collaborate to create action plans that will be inline with your desires.

    For example, if you have always wanted to sing and perform, but feel stuck or afraid, we may create a plan to try out at your local playhouse or sing karaoke at a club. What may have felt impossible or, in body terms, like a “threat” in the past, with new beliefs and energy can feel exciting or nervous on a healthy level.

    Emotions are not the enemy. They are the language of your subconscious. Tools and actions may not have worked or had short term results in the past due to blocks of the subconscious. However, with different perceptions, energy, and potential, you can explore, create, grow, move, connect, express, and so much more!
